  • Able to attend 2x a week in-person activities in one of our city hubs.
  • Must be located in 1 of our 8 cities' hub
  • Can commute and attend in-person requirements in one of our eight city hubs - Nairobi, Kigali, Lagos, Accra, Casablanca, Cairo, Addis Ababa, and Johannesburg

Experience

  • Build your foundations and be prepared for the requirements of international companies and modern work environments.
  • Engage in a hybrid learning experience with both in-person and online elements to help you succeed.

What is ALX?
ALX offers job-ready training in the tech fields employers need most. ALX, in partnership with The ROOM, is brought to you by the organisation that leads African Leadership Academy, African Leadership University, and Anzisha Prize Foundation.
Can I afford this programme?
ALX offers top training in leading fields for future young leaders. Programme fees have been waived in 2023 due to the sponsorship of the Mastercard Foundation and other partners. We welcome you to apply if you are over the age of 18 and want to build employable skills and thrive in an impactful career.
Why do I have to go into the hub during the week?
Attending the in-person hubs is a requirement of the learning experience. The in-person co-working spaces are designed to provide accountability, peer support, and the opportunity for face-to-face interaction and networking. This is intended to boost productivity and help individuals achieve their goals.
How do I join The ROOM?
Upon successful completion of your programme, you will be invited to join The ROOM community where you will have access to a global network of resources, job opportunities, and on-going career support.
